My mission is helping people bring more
love, healing, and joy into their lives.
My specialty is relationships: helping individuals
and couples
improve communication, intimacy, and sex. I also help people who have
had cancer, serious illness, or depression.
I've confronted many tough challenges in my life.
Along the way,
life coaches and counselors have helped me meet those challenges.
With their help I have discovered that I
can
learn from all of my experiences, even my failures and heartbreaks. I
have come to understand that the life I want is my choice—it starts
with my choice to be happy, productive, and
loving.
I am a Life Coach because I want to pay it
forward—I am committed to
helping
you create the life you desire.
Give me a call. You
will find that
I am easy to talk with and
committed to your success at every step of your journey.
I look forward to hearing from
you!

Professional
Experience and Qualifications
I
have worked as a life coach, marriage counselor, psychotherapist,
and educator.
For 24 years I worked as a licensed mental health
counselor providing marriage counseling for couples and psychotherapy
for individuals. I also provided Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
services and
supervised counselor interns
for state licensure.
As a college instructor at the University of South
Florida (USF) I taught graduate-level counseling
courses and
undergraduate ethics courses.
I believe in giving back to the community through
volunteer service. I have
served on the boards of professional counseling associations and
a variety of community charitable organizations. From 1999 to 2000 I
was President of the
Florida Mental Health
Counseling Association (FMHCA). I served for seven years on the board
of
directors of The Bridge Tampa, a
non-profit educational organization committed to the creation of a more
life-enhancing society.
I completed my education at the University of
South Florida, where I earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education, an M.A.
in Rehabilitation Counseling, and
a B.A. in Psychology.
